Volunteering Requirements
Our volunteer hours for the 2012-2013 seasons will be as follows:
Developmental, Red, and Silver (BCC) - 8 hours per family per season
White, Gray, Black, Senior, Prep and Elite (VMAC) - 12 hours per family per season
Families with multiple swimmers or swimmers at different locations will only have an overall family requirement which will be determined by you highest level of swimmer.
Volunteer Program Fee Payment
For those families who are unable to commit to the Season volunteer hours, we will be requiring a (tax deductible) contribution of a $20 per hour fee for hours not completed.
($160.00 for BCC /$240.00 for VMAC). This payment will enable the CUDAS to use these
funds for meet supplies, practice equipment, and, other team-related activities.
Volunteer opportunities (for meets, fundraising, team activities/parties, etc.) will be posted
on the bulletin boards at the Broomfield Community Center (BCC) pool and on the team
website www.teamCUDAs.com in advance of each activity date. In addition, volunteer
opportunities will be posted in the periodic CUDA email newsletters and Blasts. We
encourage families to look at the pool bulletin boards, team web site, and BBSC
newsletters/BLAST to sign-up for volunteer activities.
We now have online sign-up opportunities. Each member can sign in to their team accounts,
view the opportunities, and sign up directly through use of the website.
How To Sign Up for Posted Event Jobs
Step 1: Find the empty slots shown as "---------".
Step 2: Click on the checkbox in front of the empty slot that you want to sign up for.
Step 3: Select [Signup] button to signup for the slots that you selected.
Note: If your Account name is printed right after the checkbox, you've signed up for that job. You do NOT have to "Signup" again. You, however, can use the "Remove Signup" button to remove the signup if you no longer want to work on that job.
If someone else's name is printed, that job slot is not available for you to sign up (this is a first-come-first-serve system). You can only sign up for the empty slots shown as "---------".
